When I turned 50, I took over my daughter's camera.

Until then my weekends were often filled with work -

(too) much, (too) often, ...

I always took a camera with me when I traveled, but I lacked any technical background.

So I started a photography course.

There I got to know my camera and a group of nice, curious people.

Photography became my way of organizing what moves, slowing down what moves fast, and filtering reality through my own gaze.

We learned to focus together, but also to let go.

I also learned something about myself.

About daring to look, and daring to show.
